FAQ

Do I need reservations?  No. Everyone is welcome to visit when we have tasting room hours. We will do our best to serve everyone timely as they arrive.

How do tastings work? Visitors can sample two wines per person for no charge or up to 6 for $5.  We can pour the wines for you one by one at the tasting counter so we can answer your questions and get your feedback as you sample, or we can pour a flight of 6 to take to your table in one of our new flight boards. Our beautiful wine flight boards were custom made for the winery from wine barrel staves.

How large of a group of my family & friends can you accommodate? We have indoor seating available for up to 35 guests. Seating is first come, first served. If you have a large group (10+) coming, we do appreciate a heads up so that we can be sure to have adequate staff available so your group has a good experience.

You can sell on Sundays?  Yes, Indiana law actually allows farm wineries to sell wine on Sundays both for on-premise consumption and carry-out sales.

Are children allowed? Indiana law allows minors to be present at our winery if they are in the company of a parent, or legal guardian who is at least 21 years of age.
Note that this would mean it is illegal for a 16-20 year old designated driver to be present at our winery with their 21+ year old friends unless one member of the group is a 21 yr old+ parent or guardian of the minor.

Can you do a wine tasting event at my party/club/business/organization? Our permit only allows us to sell and serve wine on our winery premise or at a limited number of "wine festivals/trade shows" and farmers markets each year. You are welcome to bring your group to us.  Contact us if you'd like to make special arrangements for a group tasting party.
We do not host private wine and painting events at this time.

Will I be able to buy your wines at another store or restaurant? At this time we will only be selling wine at our winery. Indiana requires wine sold anywhere but our winery to first be sold through a distributor. At this time we lack the volume to make this financially feasible.

Can I buy your wine to serve at my restaurant? Unfortunately no. Same reason as the above question.

Do you donate wine to my fundraiser? We can't donate wine because we have no way to verify the final recipient is over 21.

Can you come to Ohio to sell or participate in a tasting event? Maybe in the future, but too much paperwork and cost at this time that would take away from wine production progress. In addition to filing as a Direct Ship alcohol supplier, we would need to register each individual wine to be sold in OH at at cost of $50 per wine. There is a 30-45 wait time on product registration approvals. Any time we might make a change to the wine's label the fee would need to be repaid.

Do you serve food? We have a small menu of cheese & crackers and salami slices for purchase for you to enjoy with our wines.
